We leverage proprietary technology aligned with GRI standards and the CSRD and will guide you on a journey focused on transparency and stakeholder engagement, bridging the gap between your current position and your sustainability goals.
What is a Sustainability Plan?
The sustainability plan is one of the main means through which companies express their commitment to integrating sustainability into its business. It represents not just a declaration of intent, but also an assumption of responsibility that highlights new opportunities for growth, aligning its operations with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Why should companies do a Sustainability Plan?
If your company is committed to kick off a sustainability and Net Zero strategy, then a Sustainability Plan is the “square one” of this journey. It allows you to thoroughly analyse your current positioning, strengths and weaknesses and consequently pin down key short and long term objectives.
How will we approach the plan, step-by-step?
Scope & objective
Determine the focus areas and set clear objectives for the assessment.
Data collection & analysis
Gather relevant data on all sustainability metrics and draw the insights to build a snapshot.
Benchmark
Compare the sustainability performance against industry standards, competitors, or regulatory requirements.
Reporting & Action plan
Compile a comprehensive report outlining the current status, areas for improvement, and recommended actions.
Communication
Share the plan with all relevant stakeholders to exhibit your commitment and foster their engagement.
What is an Impact Report?
The impact report is required by law from all Benefit Corporations and contains a description of how they are pursuing the common benefit. It is prepared annually and attached to the company's financial statement.
Why should companies do an Impact Report?
In addition to being a mandatory requirement for Benefit Corporations, this becomes an effective communication tool for the involvement of all stakeholders.
How will we approach the plan, step-by-step?
Objectives
Definition of what the Management set out to achieve for the common benefit.
Results
Description of actions implemented and any circumstances that prevented or slowed down the objectives’ achievement.
Impact
Evaluation of the effectiveness of actions using an external standard (e.g. SABI or BIA).
Strategy
Definition of the new objectives that the company intends to pursue in the next financial year.
Communication
Support in the design of the communication plan.
What is a Sustainability Report?
A sustainability report is a publication by companies detailing the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) impacts of their activities. It helps stakeholders understand these impacts and assess associated risks and opportunities. The CSRD established standardised sustainability reporting requirements across the EU. Reporting software such as the one developed by GFP facilitate the consolidation of data and the monitoring of results over time.
Why should companies do a Sustainability Report?
Starting from the reporting of the 2025 financial year, the Sustainability Report has become mandatory for all EU companies that meet at least 2 of the following requirements: more than 250 employees, a net turnover of over € 50 m and over € 25 m in assets. The range will extend to more companies from 2025 and even when on a voluntary basis, it will become a decisive element for smaller companies involved in the value chain.
