to take action.

The world’s ecological crisis can no longer be denied. Experts warn that life on this planet can only be preserved with rapid, dramatic action.

As a global community, we must decide upon the kind of world we want to live in.

The mission of Green Future Project is to reverse the effects of climate change, preserving the planet for both current and future generations. We aim to transform businesses, brands and individuals into active players in this global challenge, by providing simple, effective ways to support targeted reforestation, the protection of the Amazon and a global transition towards clean energy.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Grow

Plant at least 10 trees per month and track their growth on your personalised portal. You will be restoring healthy forests, while supporting local communities.

2. Reduce

Become carbon neutral by funding the world’s top climate solutions. Every ton of CO2 that you offsets is certified by the best in climate action.

3. Engage

Keep an eye on the projects you are supporting. We will offer you full access to photographic and video content from the projects on the ground

PROJECTS

NARUPA

NARUPA

Narupa reserve is located in an area of Ecuador that boasts the highest level of biodiversity on Earth as exemplified by the 872 species of birds recorded. Expanding the Narupa Reserve is timely and urgent as the premontane tropical forests in Ecuador are currently being deforested at an astounding annual rate of 9.8%. For every €350 donated we will buy an acre of rainforest, integrate it with the existing reserve and ensure its continued protection.

YANACOCHA

YANACOCHA

Situated at an altitude of 3500 meters, Yanacocha reserve hosts a project of peak importance and is home to the world’s highest reforestation project. During the past decade this area of the Andes has been subjected to severe deforestation as a result of clearing land space for pasturing. Very few patches of forest remain, and the loss of these habitats threatens the survival of various different species.

MADAGASCAR

MADAGASCAR

Madagascar is home to over 200,000 species of plants and animals that exist nowhere else on the planet. Over the past decades more than 90% of Madagascar’s native forests have been destroyed. Green Future Project is working closely with our reforestation partner to replenish the mangrove population along the west coast estuaries. This initiative is of great importance  as mangroves are among the most carbon-rich tropical forests in the world.

INDONESIA

INDONESIA

Indonesia is one of the most biodiverse regions on the planet. Over the last 3 decades, Indonesia has lost more than 40% of its mangrove forests, grievously affecting not only the natural environment and the species that inhabit it, but also the communities that depend on this ecosystem for survival. Green Future Project is working closely with our reforestation partner to restore and protect uniquely vital forest systems on Biak Island.
