Supporting Arbolia’s project, you concretely contribute to combat the negative effects of climate change, enhancing local measures of adaptation and mitigation and adding natural value to the surrounding landscape.

Objectives and approach

Creating forests within the Municipality of Vicenza, with the aim of creating natural areas, generating ecosystem services on the territory and storing atmospheric CO2.

Restoring a green area means creating the right conditions for the spread and growth of biodiversity species, like birds and pollinator insects, which are fundamental to keep ecosystems in balance. Making sure that their natural habitats are protected is fundamental to maintaining and increasing biodiversity. The development of new green spaces is a further effective way to support the development of new ecosystems.
